Adidas looks to chip away at Nike’s market share as they roll out yet another stellar sneaker offering heading into the winter season. Meet the adidas Originals Tubular.

Designer Nic Galway has done an incredible job during his short tenure as the VP of Global Design at Originals, and this silhouette shows exactly what he’s capable of at the helm. Knowing people were becoming bored with the current offerings on the sneaker scene, the goal of the model was to push the boundaries of sneaker culture. The end result is a minimalistic design that sports a dual-density EVA outsole for unrivaled comfort and performance. The shoe is gearing up for a November 20th release date, and will hit the scene in four different monochromatic colorways. Check out the video below to learn more about the design process.
