Back in 2020, adidas unveiled a pair of nature-inspired sneakers in collaboration with the National Parks Foundation for the ‘N’ installment of its ongoing A-ZX campaign. Created as an homage to Joshua Tree’s breathtaking landscape and beautiful sunrises, they featured an eye-catching sandy-pink and purple upper along with some exclusive details around the rest of the shoe. Unsurprisingly, they sold like hotcakes.
This year, three new National Parks silhouettes join the Joshua Tree ZX, including an 8000 named after Yellowstone, a 9000 after Glacier National Park, and a 10000 after Crater Lake. Accordingly, each shoe is slightly different in its approach, with the first pair being shod in shades of brown and yellow and the latter two using cooler colors like grey, turquoise, and deep blue. However, because they’re all a part of the ZX family, you’ll find features like rugged a Cordura upper and adidas’ Torsion System across the board. What’s more, each shoe gets its own printed map on the sock liner as well as a woven tongue patch and a co-branded pull-tab. Oh, and if that wasn’t enough, adidas even dropped an NPF Adilette slide for those adventures that stay close to home. You can buy them now starting at $40.
