Having dropped its star-studded Star Wars classic collection earlier this season, Adidas seems eager to keep the ball rolling. Just in time for the October 30th screening of The Mandalorian season two comes a release peppered with riffs based on the NMD_R1, Boost, Superstar, Gazelle, and Top Ten silhouettes.
The collection is headlined by colorways paying homage to the series’ main characters. Mando gets an NMD_R1 done up in Core Black, Simple Brown, and Silver Metallic. With an upper sporting a unique armor print and a heel inspired by his bandolier, it makes for quite the intergalactic statement. Baby Yoda also receives his just desserts — a pair of Linen Green Superstars. In reference to the Child’s age and as a tribute to the shoe’s 50th anniversary, it features the words “The Child, 50th anniversary” in Aurebesh on the tongue. What’s more, the sockliner comes with a print depicting the scene in which Baby Yoda first uses his undiscovered force abilities. Rounding out the collection is a Top Ten for The Child, a ZX 2K Boost referencing the showdown with the Mudhorn, as well as a Gazelle paying tribute to the Darksaber. Available November 4th, they range from $90-$150.
