Acionna Megayacht Concept

Designer Andy Waught’s behemoth yacht christened Acionna is both elegant and commanding, stretching a colossal 574 feet in length. Despite its massive size, this megayacht concept was designed with eco-conscious intent.

Featuring eight decks, the enormous Acionna is a hydrogen-powered adventure vessel, utilizing a similar system currently being tested with cruise ships and ferries. If the power used to produce the hydrogen propulsion is taken from renewable energy sources, this could potentially be a zero impact megayacht. Thanks to its spacious design, this sea titan can include a full-size squash court, helicopter hangar, and a 20-meter indoor pool. There’s also an area of the megayacht leading down to the swimming platform comprised of a central island of communal spaces, which is surrounded by the pool and accessed by either a tunnel or bridge. The pool flows down the sloped transom and into a lower pool to create a serene atmosphere. We certainly hope this luxurious sea giant escapes Waught’s imagination and enters reality.
