Acer Predator Thronos Gaming Chair

For the casual PC gamer, a standard office chair is usually comfortable and well-equipped enough. But, for those who take video games a bit more seriously (we’re looking at you international competitors and Twitch streamers), a beefier rig is almost a necessity. And Acer might have just unveiled the greatest ever built for their Predator line of serious gaming hardware.

Weighing in at a whopping 485-pounds and built from solid steel, Acer’s Predator Thronos is certainly not for the undedicated gamer. However, those who mean business can also reap the rewards of a long list of features — including support for up to three 27-inch monitors, a motorized cockpit (to help adjust your setup and even allow you to recline up to 140 degrees), onboard lighting, the ability to vibrate in sync with your games of choice, a footrest, and more. Pricing and availability haven’t been released yet, but we imagine this video game throne isn’t going to come at what anyone would call cheap. Then again, this kind of setup was never intended for the budget-conscious gamer.
