Abyss Horizon Table by Duffy London

If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. One of Duffy London’s most well received pieces – the Abyss tables – is getting remade in yet another variation.

This time around the table from the East London studio is showing up in a rounded coffee table form. What made the first round so pleasing to look at holds for this iteration. The topographical lines are just as interesting to follow down into the center of the table as they were before. As much works of art as they are pieces of furniture, the Abyss Horizon tables will be on display at the PAD London Art and Design show in October, the New York Salon, Art and Design, Park Avenue Armory in November, and at Art Basel in Miami Beach in December. Each of these tables were made with sustainable materials sourced from the forest stewardship council in the U.K. Only 25 will be made and prices will be made available on application for ownership.
