ABT Soups Up Lamborghini’s Intimidating Urus SUV To 710HP

If you’ve been keeping a close eye on Lamborghini’s super SUV, you’ll know that it’s become one of the aftermarket tuning community’s favorite platforms for modification. To add another monstrous example to the vehicle’s bolstered list of builds, ABT Sportsline has decided to introduce their own iteration of the powerful production model.

As with most of ABT’s vehicles, the Lamborghini Urus is set to receive a generous performance package that will boost the capabilities of the car by over 59 horsepower. After tapping into the platform’s ECU, the German tuner was able to squeeze a staggering 710 BHP and 671 lb-ft of torque out of the Urus’ 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine — shaving nearly 0.2 seconds off of the platform’s 3.4-second 0-60 run time. A top speed of 189.5 miles-per-hour puts the car squarely into the realm of the super-SUV. For now, the tuning package is the primary selling point for ABT’s Urus package — but the company’s interest in the vehicle is sure to spark an interesting catalog of kit, exhaust, and wheel collections for the future.
