As the years go by, video games look more realistic, providing gamers with a more immersive experience. However, 2D games are still alive and well due to their retro aesthetic and charm. Built for the Nintendo Switch, 8BitdDo’s Lite Bluetooth Gamepad is made for 2D video game fanatics.
8BitDo did away with the thumbsticks for this controller, giving the device a slimmer profile. It features two D-pads, making it ideal for NES and SNES games and new 2D selections, such as Super Mario Maker 2. And the controller is fully functional for the Switch, as all core buttons are supported, and you can charge the Lite controller via Switch’s lithium-ion battery through a USB-C connection. The controller also works with macOS, Window, and Android. Look for the gamepad to drop on October 30, but you can pre-order a blue or yellow model today for $25.
