8BitDo did away with the thumbsticks for this controller, giving the device a slimmer profile. It features two D-pads, making it ideal for NES and SNES games and new 2D selections, such as Super Mario Maker 2. And the controller is fully functional for the Switch, as all core buttons are supported, and you can charge the Lite controller via Switch’s lithium-ion battery through a USB-C connection.
