The bar is being raised for cameras every day, and even with these relatively new 360-degree cameras, there seems to be a new device that’s cooler than the one announced the week before. Perhaps the current leader in the clubhouse? The 360cam.

This rugged little guy is water-resistant, shoots 360-degree video and stills, and offers the ability to stream live video. But hang on, there’s plenty more. The included app lets you adjust settings, control the gyroscope, and use your mobile device as a viewfinder when recording video or taking pictures. There are three built-in microphones, GPS and Wi-FI antennas, and there’s even an a light socket adaptor to let you use the camera for home video surveillance. The 360cam is currently gaining support on Kickstarter, and the makers are hoping for a November release. Watch the video below. [Purchase]
