At the top of the Land Rover performance hierarchy sits the Range Rover SVR, a dynamic 575hp vehicle with electronic air suspension, two-stage active exhaust, and massive Brembo brakes. In other words, it’s a ride that really puts the ‘sport’ in SUV. However, if you’re looking for a bit more distinction in your daily, Land Rover’s latest offering could very well be just what you need.
Dubbed the ‘Range Rover Sport SVR Ultimate Edition,’ it’s essentially a top-of-the-line SVR that’s been outfitted with a number of bespoke aesthetic touches by the SVO (Special Vehicle Operations) division. For instance, it’s available in three hand-finished paint colors — Ligurian Black, Maya Blue, and Marl Grey — with the lattermost two being model-exclusive options. But that’s not all; elsewhere, you’ll find bright, Fuji White side vents and edged lettering, as well as a Narvik Black roof and some matching 22″ forged alloy wheels. And while the powerplant remains the same as the ‘standard’ SVR, the Ultimate Edition at least gets a body-colored carbon fiber hood. Rounded out by an interior that includes such details as illuminated treadplates, anodized gearshift paddles, and SVR-embossed sport seats, it makes for a truly distinguished SUV.
