Porsche Unveils A Sleek, Understated Edition Of Its High-Performance 911 GT3

Porsche’s current GT3 represents the pinnacle of performance for the Stuttgart brand’s road-legal 911 offerings, with the aero-kitted 4.0L flat-six-powered sportscar capable of reaching nearly 200mph speeds and offering razor-sharp performance and ultra-low lap-times. And while plenty of the brand’s most discerning customers are interested in enjoying the performance prowess of the GT3 in their day-to-day lives, not everyone is fond of the less-than-subtle track-ready appearance of the model’s exaggerated wing and body kit, prompting Porsche to release a more understated, but no-less capable version of the GT3 with a new optional Touring Package.

Weighing just 3,126lbs, the Touring Package-equipped GT3 boasts incredibly similar performance figures as the standard 502hp GT3. Its 0-60mph time has increased from 3.2 seconds up to 3.7, though top speed has also gone up from 197mph to 199mph. The cockpit also retains the normal GT3’s track-focused display, carbon-backed seats, and manual or Porsche dual-clutch transmission. Scheduled for a release early next year, the 2022 Porsche 911 GT3 with Touring Package carries the same MSRP as the regular GT3 at $161,100 — a figure that includes the option for the company’s seven-speed PDK transmission at no extra cost.

Purchase: $161,100+
