Mercedes-Maybach Rolls Out An Even More Luxurious S-Class Sedan For 2022

Since the announcement of the ultra-elite luxury brand’s revival in late 2014, Maybach has been on a roll, consistently raising the bar in terms of comfort and amenities in the world’s most exclusive class of vehicles. And the Daimler-owned division keeps this charge going with its latest model reveal, the 2022 Mercedes-Maybach S-Class.

Sporting a 133.7 “ wheelbase—at 7” longer than the outgoing model—the 2022 Maybach S-Class has received a slew of subtle, yet thoroughly top-shelf tweaks, making for an even more plush and luxurious ride. The luxury yacht-inspired interior sports deck-style wood planking inlays, recalling executive seats, 18 airbags, an active ambient lighting setup with more than 250 integrated RGB LED lights embedded throughout the cabin, and an optional onboard refrigerator and glass set. The vehicle also boasts a wide array of cutting-edge tech, including a suite of massive color touchscreen and an audiophile-grade sound system. The Maybach S-Class is also offered in a variety of two-tone paint jobs. Though pricing hasn’t been announced, the 2022 Mercedes-Maybach S-Class is slated to hit U.S. dealerships in mid-2021.
