Lincoln’s Updated 2022 Navigator Features Hands-Free Driving & More Tech

Lincoln is taking a hands-off approach when it comes to the 2022 Navigator — literally. The updated luxury SUV features new hands-free driving technology, part of an entire suite of segment-leading driver-assistance features.

Leading the way in innovation on the 2022 Lincoln Navigator is the ActiveGlide system. The feature incorporates in-dash cameras that track your gaze to make sure your eyes stay on the road while automatically handling your car’s speed and steering on prequalified sections of U.S. highways, signified by blue lights in the head-up display. The tech is part of an entire suite of driver-assistance features called Lincoln Co-Pilot360 2.0 that also includes Intersection Assist, Active Park Assist 2.0, Pedestrian Detection, and more. In addition to the tech-heavy safety features, the new Navi is also more luxurious, with first-in-class massage capabilities in the second-row seats, Amazon Alexa and Fire TV built-in, and even crystalline chimes recorded by the Detroit Symphony Orchestra in place of standard electronic alert sound effects.
