With 789 horses prancing out of its naturally aspirated V12 engine, the Ferrari 812 GTS was already the most powerful production convertible on the market. But those numbers weren’t good enough for high-end German tuning house Novitec, so they’ve transformed the Italian drop-top into the more powerful widebody 812 GTS N-Largo.
The Novitec 812 GTS N-Largo outfits the Ferrari convertible with a carbon widebody kit that increases the width of the car from 179 cm to 211 cm. The extra width allows for Novitec’s larger hi-tech forged wheels fitted with high-performance tires, and the bodywork has also undergone careful trimming to optimize the aerodynamics. Engine performance has also been improved, naturally, with Novitec’s high-performance exhaust system and 100-cell sports catalysts combining to boost horsepower from 789 to 840 and torque from 530 ft.-lbs. to 554 ft.-lbs. The overall package adds up to a new 0-62 mph time of 2.8 seconds (down from just under 3 seconds stock) and a top speed of 214 mph (up from 211 mph). Novitec is making just 18 examples of the 812 GTS N-Largo, so you’d better hurry if you want one.
