Zagato Celebrates A 1960s Classic With The Z06-Powered IsoRivolta GTZ Coupe

Zagato is one of the most iconic coachbuilders of all time, with a century-long history that includes ties to a myriad of the world’s most elite automotive manufacturers. And while the Italian outfit may be best known for its elegant takes on classic Italian cars, Zagato has in fact previously worked with American auto makes, which it’s now celebrating via the revival of the IsoRivolta brand and the launch of the 2021 Zagato IsoRivolta GTZ.

Paying homage to the Rivolta A3 from 1963, this Italimerican masterpiece features striking bodywork that’s constructed entirely from carbon fiber. The IsoRivolta GTZ sports a neo-retro design that takes inspiration from both modern supercar design language and key aesthetic traits from the original 1960s A3 model. At the heart of the IsoRivolta GTZ is the aluminum V8 from the Corvette Z06 that’s now supercharged and boasts a 6.8L displacement. In total, only 19 units are slated for production, though Zagato says 9 of said examples are already spoken for. Pricing has yet to be announced, though delivery of the first GTZ specimen is expected to take place in October of 2020.
