As the adventure and Overlanding segments have spiked in popularity over the last few years, the space has become increasingly competitive, with manufacturers being forced to constantly update and upgrade their wares in order to remain relevant in the industry. This can clearly be seen with the debut of TAXA Outdoors’ new and improved 2021 model year version of its Woolly Bear off-road trailer.
Built around a rugged steel chassis that rides on 15″ steel wheels shod in all-terrain tires, the 2021 model now boasts new risers with three height settings (each varying by 6”), a wider wheelbase to track better behind off-road vehicles, and a Birch plywood kitchen area with stainless steel countertops that’s been revised using feedback from the public. Weighing 1,270lbs and spanning 10’ 8”, the 2021 Woolly Bear also features 12V accessory outlets, an LED under-glow kit, NATO can storage, quad stabilizer jacks, torsion axle suspension with electric brakes, a full-size spare wheel, a laser-cut and powder-coated steel cargo bay with a 600lb capacity, a lockable storage drawer with a 12V outlet for powering a 45-quart cooler, and a rooftop tent that can comfortably sleep up to four adults. Available now, the 2021 TAXA Outdoors Woolly Bear Trailer starts at $11,800.
