PaxPower Adds A 758HP V8 Engine & Supercharges Ford’s 2021 Bronco

Over the years, one of Texas’ leading aftermarket modification and tuning companies, PaxPower, has been carving out its own unique path. Adhering to its endless drive for innovation, the brand has sought to “create the trucks that OEM manufacturers won’t,” gifting the masses with high-end alternatives to vehicles like the Ford Raptor. Following the reveal of the 2021 Bronco, however, Pax has decided to shift its focus, resulting in a formidable off-road project dubbed the PaxPowerBronco.

Instead of focusing primarily on responsiveness, gratuitous lift kits, and oversized wheels, the brand has decided to dig a bit deeper into the SUV’s shortcomings — including its substantial, and often-overlooked, lack of a V8 engine option. To give buyers a truly unique platform, Pax has decided to outfit the Bronco with a 3rd generation 5.0L Coyote engine, resulting in an output of 400 horsepower, and 400 lb-ft of torque. But that’s not all. The brand has also decided to cater to the high-performance crowd, garnering an additional 358HP through a tiered 2.9L supercharger system. Should you spring for the upgraded rendition, your 2021 Bronco will be able to produce around 758HP — a staggering 400-unit improvement over the SUV’s original 2.7-liter V6. Head to PaxPower’s website to inquire about the project, which is expected to cost around $30,000 (for the non-supercharged version) on release.
