Hennessey Ups The McLaren 765LT’s Output To A Staggering 1,000HP

The McLaren 765LT was already one of the world’s top-performing supercars, but to the mad geniuses at Hennessey, the car’s 755HP wasn’t powerful enough. So they’ve gone and upped the output to 1,000 horsepower with the HPE1000 McLaren 765LT upgrade package.

The Hennessey HPE1000 McLaren 765LT package includes upgraded high-flow air filters, re-mapped factory ECU calibration, a stainless-steel exhaust downpipe, high-flow exhaust, and chassis dyno calibration, plus a number of custom details featuring Hennessey branding. The changes not only increase the car’s power to 1,000HP but also enable a new 0-60mph time of just 2.1 seconds. That’s as fast as any production car ever, matching the factory-claimed time of the 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon and the tested time of the 2015 Porsche 918 Spyder. It also makes this the fastest and most-powerful McLaren that Hennessey has ever produced. So if your McLaren 765LT has been feeling a little too slow for your tastes, hit up Hennessey for the $24,950 HPE1000 treatment.
