Back in May of 2020, Mash Motors debuted a limited-edition run of a WW2-era-inspired standard known as the Desert Force 400. And after each of the 103 units quickly sold out, the French moto marque has now pulled the cover off of another wartime-themed mount with the “Side Force 400.”
This new model is essentially the existing Desert Force that’s been outfitted with a sidecar before being cloaked in an OD green livery. The sidecar features a locking rear trunk, a rack that accommodates a spare wheel, multiple luggage racks, leather upholstery, a seat belt, and some auxiliary lighting elements. The limited-edition sidecar also includes a removable steel ammo box adorned in “Side Force” branding. At the heart of the military-style moto is a 28hp air-cooled 445cc single overhead cam thumper that’s mated to a five-speed transmission with a reverse gear. Tipping the scales at just over 750lbs, the sidehack boasts a top speed of around 70mph. Available now in select markets, the 2021 Mash Side Force 400 is priced at approximately $13,050.
