Zyrus’ LP1200 Strada Is A $730K 1200HP Huracan-Based Street-Legal Racer

Although Zyrus Engineering may not have the extensive portfolio of other aftermarket specialists, the Norwegian-based tuner isn’t exactly wanting for experience. On the contrary — having won the Norwegian Extreme GT Championship with its Lamborghini Huracan campaign car — the company has already shown how it can put its expertise into practice. But with the announcement of its latest creation, Zyrus is taking its skills to the street.

It’s called the Zyrus LP1200 Strada, and as the name suggests, it’s a road-legal variant of the LP1200 R track car. However, take a closer look and you’ll find that this build is anything but derivative. For instance, although its 5.2L V10 shares a similar twin-turbo kit, its final horsepower figure is available in two flavors — a “reasonable” 900hp for daily driving or the full 1,200hp for dedicated track use — all at the push of a button. What’s more, it also receives a bespoke body kit with no fewer than 600 parts added to the stock Huracan. With its facelifted front fascia, extended side skirts, and massive rear wing, it’s capable of generating some 2,010kg of downforce (4,431 lbs) at a weight of just 1,427kg (3,146 lbs). Prices start at $727,000 and even include a track day.
