KTM makes some of the most competent off-road machines on earth, and as such has become the go-to choice for an enormous number of top-level AMA and Dakar rally competitors. Among them is Kailub Russell, who, despite only being 30, has seen a career that’s included a trio of Full Gas Sprint Enduro Champion titles, an AMA National Enduro Championship, and over 65 wins and a whopping eight championship titles in the AMA Grand National Cross Country Series.
To honor the Ohio-born racer and his illustrious racing career, KTM has unleashed a special edition version of Russell’s weapon-of-choice, the 350 XC-F. The Austrian thumper’s been gifted a Flying Machine Factory exhaust, a composite skid-plate, quick-fill tank, orange-anodized triple clamp, Selle Dalla Valle-logo’d factory race seat, a Hinson clutch cover, sprocket guard and front brake disc guard, a set of fork guards equipped with KTM’s factory holeshot device, and blacked out D.I.D DirtStar rims laced to fully CNC-machined orange anodized hubs and nipples. On top of the mechanical upgrades, the XC-F’s Chromoly frame’s been powder-coated in the Ready To Race brand’s signature orange, with the sharp MX bodywork’s been adorned in a replica FMF KTM Factory Racing graphics package. Though pricing hasn’t been revealed, the 2021 KTM 350 XC-F Kailub Russell Edition is slated for a release this Fall.
