Jeep Commemorates 80 Years With A Run Of 41 Top-Shelf Wrangler 1941 SUVs

It was 1941 and the United States was on the verge of entering WWII when the first Jeeps rolled off the assembly line, and the rest, as they say, is history. This year, Jeep is celebrating their 80th birthday in a myriad of ways, with the latest being the extremely-limited edition Jeep Wrangler 1941.

The U.K.-only variant of the most-iconic Jeep model contains a number of upgrades direct from the factory, including etched honeycomb sill guards, front and rear splash guards, high wall all-weather floor mats, performance rock rails, a massive “1941” hood decal, and a two-inch FOX suspension lift kit that’s exclusive to the Wrangler 1941. They all add up to what Jeep is calling the most capable Wrangler ever offered on UK roads, and since all modifications come directly from Mopar, they won’t void your warranty. Under the hood is a 2.2 Diesel MultiJet II engine making 200HP, which is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Available in four colors, the Jeep Wrangler 1941 is limited to just 41 examples and is priced from £58,050 ($80,338).
