Well, the Huayra turns 10 this year, wrapping up a seemingly endless decade since it was originally introduced. Much about the world has changed since 2011 (no one’s planking anymore, among other things), but the Zonda successor nevertheless continues to soldier on.
In celebration of the car’s birthday, Pagani has just unveiled an all-new performance package — the ‘Pacchetto Tempesta’ — that’ll be debuting at Monterrey Car Week. Designed to fit the top-of-the-line Huayra BC, it starts with a comprehensive aerodynamic overhaul, in which it gains a refreshed front splitter, a dedicated air intake, a massive carbon wing, as well as an integrated central fin. Furthermore, the package includes an all-new suspension setup that allows for what Pagani terms a ‘Soft Driving mode’ — an addition that presumably makes the ride a bit more accommodating. Last but not least, the Huayra gets a marked upgrade in power, with its 6.0L V12 now producing 816hp and 811lb-ft of torque compared to 754hp and 738lb-ft. Funneled through a stunning six-pipe exhaust, we can only imagine how it screams revving at 6,000rpm. Pricing hasn’t been announced just yet, but you can check it out at the link below.
