Ford’s 2021 Tremor Package Turns The Ranger Into An Off-Road-Ready Pickup

With a decent chunk of new truck owners opting to outfit their rides with varying degrees of aftermarket parts and upgrades, it’s unsurprising to see more and more manufacturers are now producing turn-key factory upgrades to bolster performance and protection for off-road applications. And though Ford’s lineup already includes some incredibly-competent pickups, the American marque has just revealed its latest go-anywhere mid-size pickup with the 2021 Ford Ranger Tremor Off-Road Package.

Offering almost 10” of clearance, a 30.9-degree approach angle, and a 25.5-degree departure angle, this upgraded Ranger boasts FOX 2.0 monotube dampers, 17” wheels wrapped in 32” Continental all-terrain tires, hoop steps, recovery hooks, a frame-mounted steel front bash plate and underbody skid plates, and a Terrain Management System with four drive modes and an off-road traction control system. The interior also features numerous custom details such as suede inserts and Tremor branding, while the Tremor’s powertrain goes unchanged, with the 2.3L EcoBoost engine still generating 270hp and 310ft-lbs of torque and retaining its automatic ten-speed transmission and electronic locking rear differential. Offered on mid-XLT and high Lariat series 2021 Ranger trucks (in SuperCrew 4×4 configuration), the 2021 Ford Ranger Tremor Off-Road Package is priced at $4,290 on top of the truck’s $24,110 base price with production scheduled to begin next year.
