Like many other automotive tuning outlets, ROUSH Performance is not one for complacency — with each new model year, the Michigan-based aftermarket specialist continues to outdo itself, painstakingly revising its process in order to deliver an upgrade that not only offers a more striking aesthetic but also a more powerful engine.
Just take a look at ROUSH’s 2021 Stage 3 Mustang conversion, for instance. When it comes to the exterior, the iconic pony car sees a number of visual changes, including an Active Aerodynamic Carbon Fiber Wing for improved downforce, some vents on the fenders and hood for more efficient cooling, as well as some 20-inch Flowform wheels for better grip. Under the hood, it’s powered by a supercharged 5.0L V8 that can be mated to a 10-speed automatic or a six-speed manual gearbox. In practice, this means that it’s good for 750hp, with a 3.6s 0-60mph time and a blistering quarter-mile taking just 11.2s. However, should you want even more power, ROUSH is prepared to give you as many as 775 horses at your disposal. Finished off with an interior outfitted in premium leather and custom ROUSH foot pedals and badging, the 2021 Stage 3 is easily the best one yet. It’s available from $24,995.
