Ford Unveils The First Of Its 2021 Limited-Run ‘Studio Collection’ GT Cars

Early last autumn, Ford announced a limited-run of 40 ‘Studio Collection’ GT’s split between the 2021 and 2022 model years. Designed to offer buyers a bit of extra exclusivity while highlighting the car’s characteristic styling elements, each one would feature an all-new graphics package and virtually endless customization options.

What you see before you is the first of such stunning Studio Collection Ford GTs. Developed in collaboration with Multimatic — the official manufacturer of the supercar platform — it’s painted in an eye-catching shade of ‘Shadow Black’ with a crop of ‘Competition Orange’ details throughout. For instance, it features a racing stripe that stretches from stem to stern, with further accents appearing above the headlights, around the side cooling ducts, and along the rear roofline. Complimented by a set of large black alloy wheels and some red Brembo brake calipers, it cuts quite the sinister supercar. Under the hood, we suspect it’s powered by the same 3.5L EcoBoost V6 as the stock car, a unit that’s good for some 647hp and 550lb-ft of torque. And while there’s no word yet on the final build price, we can’t imagine that this amount of customization comes cheap.
