Ducati Is Making Just 50 Limited Edition XDiavel ‘Black Star’ Hyper-Cruiser Motos

First introduced in 2016, the XDiavel offered a more traditional alternative to the regular Diavel, with a markedly more relaxed and feet-forward riding position and the firm;’s first belt-driven final drive setup. Fresh on the heels of Ducati Motors unveiling the 2021 XDiavel, the Bologna brand has now pulled the cover off of an even more exclusive Italian cruiser bike with the XDiavel Black Star.

At the heart of this new limited-edition Duck is a Euro 5-compliant 1,262 cc L-Twin, putting down 152hp and 93ft-lbs of torque. Tipping the scales at 487lbs, the special edition version still offers the same impressive acceleration and performance as the base model cruiser, though distinguishes itself through a special edition livery comprised of a matte black and gray scheme with blood-red accents and engine head covers, and gloss black frame and wheels. Riding on a pair of lightweight forged wheels, the Black Star reportedly takes inspiration from the “livery and equipment” found on high-end European sports cars. Other standard items include LED lighting throughout, and a full electronics suite with a Bosch IMU-regulated cornering ABS system, and traction and launch controls. Priced at $25,995, the 2021 Ducati XDiavel Black Star will be limited to only 50 units, all of which are earmarked for US and Canadian shores.
