First released in 1924, the Brough Superior SS100 is undoubtedly one of the most legendary motorcycles of all time, winning countless races and setting a plethora of world speed records upon its debut. In 2016, the famed British marque was revived, and now produces ultra top-shelf modern custom-made-to-order versions of the mighty SS100 including several ultra-limited edition versions that honor figures and chapters from the marque’s illustrious history.
The latest special edition SS100 pays homage to British motorcycle racer, Bert le Vack (aka the “Wizard of Brooklands”) who in 1924 broke a whopping nine speed records aboard his trusty SuperSport. Limited to just nine units in total, the Bert le Vack Edition SS100 retains the regular model’s proprietary 100hp 997cc V-Twin engine, hand-worked all-titanium construction chassis, double-wishbone front-end, and top-of-the-line running gear, but adds a host of unique touches such as titanium tank straps, individually numbered plates on the top of the tank, and a throwback gray livery inspired by the paint digs seen on le Vack’s S100 racers of the 1920s. Pricing has yet to be revealed, though more information can be obtained via the Brough Superior website linked below.
