Volvo beefed up their latest V60 wagon, transforming it into the rugged Cross Country version equipped for off-roading escapades. The adventure vehicle is stocked with all the features required to rumble through the great outdoors.
The vehicle’s performance off the beaten path is upgraded thanks to a special chassis and suspension, along with 2.95 inches of additional ground clearance. With standard all-wheel drive, hill descent control, and a special off-roading mode, this wagon can haul all your gear and crew through the great state parks across America. Although there’s no official information on power and torque, this vehicle is similar to the XC60 T5 so you can expect somewhere around 250 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. As with all cars in Volvo’s lineup, the V60 Cross Country comes with a special automatic emergency braking feature that can recognize pedestrians, cyclists, and large animals.
