Vanderhall Unleashes A Speedy & Stylish 194HP USA-Made 3-Wheeler

Although a majority of folks have to settle for owning a single motor vehicle, some are lucky enough that they can purchase alternatives to their daily driver. And while there are a lot of options out there, there’s something to be said for rides built with nothing other than the joy of the road in mind — like the ones Vanderhall builds. Now, they’ve introduced another svelte speedster to their catalog with the 2020 Carmel.

While we wouldn’t be so cavalier as to call the open-air Carmel a go-kart, the three-wheeler is a pared-down speedster made specifically to get your adrenaline pumping both around the corners and down the straights. It’s powered by a 1.5L LFV turbocharged inline-four engine capable of 194HP — a massive figure considering how small and lightweight the monocoque two-seater is. Of course, it’s not just all speed; there’s plenty of style and creature comforts to be had, as well — like dual suicide doors, a removable cap shade, Bluetooth sound, standard heated seats, and a gorgeously-appointed leather interior with a classy wood steering wheel. Best of all, the Caramel was built in Utah almost entirely out of US-sourced materials. Available in three trim levels, pricing starts at $34,950.
