Late last year when the trailer for the newest installment in the James Bond franchise, No Time To Die was released, we not only got a glimpse of some of the action the super spy will be up to, but also some of the vehicles 007 will be piloting. Alongside a bullet-proof, Gatling gun-equipped vintage Aston Martin DB5 and the new DBS Superleggera, the upcoming film also features a Triumph Scrambler 1200, which is now being commemorated via the release of a limited edition James Bond-branded model.
Starting with the top-shelf XE-spec of the Scrambler model, the Hinckley firm has given the scoot a special debossed “007” brushed black exhaust heat shield covering a dual silencer Arrow muffler setup with carbon-fiber end caps, Bond-branded side panels, custom leather saddle with embroidered Bond logo, a unique Bond startup screen on the TFT display, gold-accent engine badges, MX-style front fender option as standard, Ohlins shocks, and a bevy of anodized, blacked-out bits. The Showa forks and swing-arm are also powder coated in black, matching the Bond Edition’s black livery. Priced at $18,500 — a $3,100 premium over the XE’s base price — the 2020 Scrambler 1200 XE Bond Edition is limited to 250 units worldwide — 30 of which are earmarked for US shores.
