After showing off images and a few performance specs for its small-scale supercar back in early 2020, KTM has now pulled the cover off of the final production version of its X-BOW GTX.
Weighing in at just 2,310lbs, this spare-no-expense, limited volume production model is powered by a specially-tuned version of an Audi-made, turbocharged 2.5L five-cylinder engine that’s been massaged to generate 530hp and 479.4ft-lbs of torque. Built around a full carbon fiber monocoque and reinforced via a GT roll cage, the X-BOX GTX is equipped with professional race grade hardware throughout, including Sachs dampers and adjustable stabilizers, six-pot endurance calipers chomping down on 14.9” rotors, race-spec gas tank, and an electronically-operated six-speed Holinger MF model sequential gearbox with a racing clutch and a limited-slip diff. The Austrian-built racer’s “Jetfighter Canopy” also boasts carbon-Kevlar Recaro seats with homologated Schroth six-point harnesses, plus an adjustable suede steering wheel and foot pedals. Available now, the 2020 KTM X-BOW GTX is priced at approximately $270,000.
