In the 4×4 world, the name of the game is to make sure that your rig is more than capable of getting itself out of any unforeseen situation, which usually requires an endless list of necessary upgrades for a truck driven off the showroom floor. In 2020 Jeep looks to eliminate the need to visit an aftermarket fabrication shop with their Gladiator Mojave, the first vehicle from the manufacturer to sport their Desert Ready badge.
With an already impressive spec on the base model Gladiator, the Mojave sets itself apart as being delivered with all the necessities for high-speed off-road assaults. The suspension has been upgraded to a 2.5” Fox coil-over package consisting of internal bypass shocks with external reservoirs complemented by Fox jounce bump stops for an additional cushion on large hits. Jeep also beefs up the frame and axles, adds a silver front skid plate, and mounted 33” Falken Wildpeak all-terrain tires on 17” wheels to allow for extra grip when driving with the rear axle fully locked in 4H mode, a completely new feature for the iconic brand.
