In an era where midsized offerings are becoming the primary focus for the industry’s leading truck manufacturers, Ford has decided to let old habits die hard with the recently announced Super Duty Tremor Edition — a capable off-road package that looks to amplify its 2020 lineup.
The Tremor package is slated to adorn the company’s new F-250 (and F-350) and boasts an enhanced front end setup, suspension improvements, and tailor-made off-road modes that make expeditionary driving a breeze. A set of 35-inch Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac tires, a 2-inch front-end lift, and improved shocks join the Tremor’s proprietary rock-crawling drive mode, helping you to navigate some of the most obscene obstacles the terrain has to offer, while Ford’s new Trail Control off-road cruise control technology offers adaptive driving capabilities akin to traditional on-road endeavors. While performance figures haven’t been released for the vehicles, the company revealed that they’ll feature a new 7.3-liter V8 engine — citing the presence of best-in-class power.
