Turn Your Ford Ranger Into A Carbon Fiber Prerunner With APG’s Upgrade Kit

When Ford announced they were bringing back their compact Ranger pickup truck, aftermarket upgrade brands wasted no time putting out all manner of upgrade kits. But, as proof that there are rewards for those who wait, APG has just unveiled one of the better conversion upgrades we’ve seen in their 2019/2020 Ford Ranger APG Prorunner Series 1.

Utilizing either the 2WD or 4WD version of both the 2019 and 2020 model years of Ford’s Ranger pickup as a starting point, this conversion package is fairly comprehensive. For starters, it includes a hand-laid and vacuum-infused carbon fiber widebody, an all-aluminum front bumper with cutouts for sensors and OEM fog light brackets, and off-road performance-focused adjustable long-travel suspension (which allows up to 12.5″ of wheel travel and can accommodate 35″ tires). Along with the standard options, APG also has an extensive list of optional upgrades ranging from a Warn 8000-S front-end winch to a KC HiLiTES roof rack with a light bar and so much more. Pricing for this off-road upgrade kit starts at $10,573 (without installation) and can be completed at APG’s state-of-the-art Garden Grove, California facility.
