What does a powerful American muscle drag-racing demon need? More power, of course. The 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 By Hennessey Performance is a monstrous version of the 760-horsepower standard model.
Hennessey will introduce three different upgrade packages for the GT500: Venom 850, Venom 1000, and the Venom 1200. We’re pretty stoked about the first two packages, but the overkill Venom 1200 kit is what has us drooling. The kit bumps the car up to 1,200-horsepower with an incredible 1,000 lb-ft of torque. To get the vehicle to those extraordinary numbers, the Venom 1200 upgrade includes a Twin Turbo system, fuel system boost, stainless steel exhaust, high-flow air induction network, upgraded cooler system, and a transmission enhancement. And the ride will sport Hennessey embroidered headrests, as well as Hennessey and Venom 1200 exterior badges. Any of the Hennessey upgrade packages will transform the Shelby GT500 into a road bullet.
