2020 Chevrolet Silverado Heavy Duty

Chevrolet is one of those companies that continues to pump out choice rugged offerings every single year, and they aren’t showing any signs of stopping. The new 2020 Silverado HD (Heavy Duty) is one such introduction to the market and houses a few monstrous new upgrades over its predecessor.

The HD is the most capable and advanced Silverado ever, tailor-made for those who prefer advanced towing and power over Chevrolet’s lighter models. The truck boasts a modern look that pairs nicely with its enhanced, chiseled silhouette. Two separate powertrains are available for the HD — a new gasoline-powered variant with direct injection and a Duramax Turbo-Diesel V8 with a 10-speed Allison transmission that achieves an insane 910 lb-ft of torque. Alongside these modest performance upgrades, the truck will also see all new customer-focused trailering technology, increases in payload and capacity, and a slew of other features that will be catered toward heavy-duty truck aficionados.
