Just before the end of last year, Can-Am unveiled a Defender Max Limited HD10 UTV dressed to the nines with gear specifically suited to hunting upland game, including such additions as a Warnert Racing custom loadout rack, KC HiLiTES, and a YETI cooler. A capable SBS no doubt, but if you were after something that could take you through the swampiest, marshiest terrain, it left a little to be desired.
But with the announcement of its Ultimate Waterfowl Hunting Vehicle, Can-Am has you covered. It’s based on the 2020 Defender Max XMR — the wetland workhorse in the Defender range — meaning that it comes with Fuel Off-Road UTV Wheels wrapped in EFX Tires, a Can-Am snorkel extension kit, and nearly double the towing capacity (4,500lbs compared to the Limited’s 2,500lbs). What’s more, it’s been fitted with a slew of waterfowl-focused accessories, such as a Mossy Oak Bottomland wrap for camouflage, some Quack Rack Elite racks for storage, and a set of Gunner kennels to keep the pups secure. It’ll be raffled off at the inaugural Ducks Unlimited Expo on June 25-27. Additionally, customers can donate to Ducks Unlimited through the Gunner website and Gunner will match each $1 donation.
