The customs division of Schmerikon, Switzerland-based BMW Motorrad dealer, Stucki2Rad, VTR Customs has carved out a reputation for producing some of the world’s finest bespoke Beamer builds. Because VTR does such world-class work, its custom offerings don’t come cheap and have previously been reserved for deep-pocketed enthusiasts, though the Swiss custom moto shop has now made its one-off wares markedly more accessible via the introduction of a new fixed-rate BMW R nineT customization service.
Starting at $5,070 and going up to $15,000 (plus the cost of the new donor), the service is offered for the Pure, Scrambler, and Classic-specs of the R9T, and is available in three progressively-involved stages: Stage S, Stage M, and Stage L. The builds include an array of customizable options such as paint, custom script or race numbers, number plates, headlight shrouds, Kineo wheels, LED lighting, exhausts, handlebars, luggage, and a bevy of handmade alloy parts, among many others. VTR is also currently selling one of the demo bikes from this new service: a 2020 Scrambler dubbed “# VTR23” from the Stage M class for $22,540 that furthers the donor’s vintage scrambler aesthetic. To purchase # VTR23 or to commission your own fixed-rate R9T build check out the Swiss outfit’s website.
