2020 Bentley Continental GT V8

Before today, Bentley’s legendary Continental GT luxury coupes only came with one engine option: a powerful but cumbersome 6.0L W12. Now, however, they’ve finally added a new, nimbler, more-efficient V8 option available in both a hardtop and convertible.

Appropriately called the Bentley Continental GT V8, this new version hinges on a 4.0L twin-turbo gas engine that’s good for a still-impressive 542 horsepower and 568 ft-lb of torque — making for a 0-60 time of 3.9 seconds and a jaw-dropping 500-mile range per fill-up. Those numbers make this perhaps the most road-trip ready Bentley ever built. Of course, while the engine is a lot more svelte, the coupe still has all the luxury afforded its W12 brethren. That includes a plush premium leather interior with its wide full-color dash control display, connected technologies, and the option for “practically limitless” customization. Pricing starts at $218,400.

Purchase: $218,400+
