Audi’s 591HP RS 6 Avant Sport Wagon Is Finally Coming To The USA

Here in the United States, the land of pony cars and off-road SUVs, there’s not a huge market for shooting brakes. As a result, some of the absolute best ones never make it stateside. That’s about to change in a major way, however, because Audi is finally bringing their highly-coveted RS 6 Avant to the USA for 2020.

Don’t let the elongated body on this beautiful beast fool you; this ain’t your grandma’s station wagon. Rather, this one is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that pumps out an impressive 591 horsepower — giving it a digitally-limited top speed of 155 mph and a 0-60 time of 3.6 seconds. On top of that, this sport wagon also gets the brand’s legendary Quattro all-wheel-drive system, adaptive air suspension, and multiple driving modes to make the ride even better. This aggressive, wide-body estate car will be at dealerships next year, but pricing and availability have yet to be unveiled.
