Though they’ve made a name for themselves with their easily-accessible, top-of-the-line flying drones, DJI knows a good opportunity when they see one. That’s why they’ve just unleashed their very first STEM kit in the form of the RoboMaster S1.

While this playful tank drone looks like something out of a video game, the brand wants to make one thing clear: this is not a toy — not in the traditional sense, at least. Rather, it’s an intelligent, AI-driven, programmable kit designed as an educational tool for newcomers and professionals alike. In fact, it doesn’t even come assembled. Rather, the box comes with 46 individual programmable pieces you put together yourself to get you more acquainted with the robot. Controlled and programmed via an included app, this remote-controlled 4×4 omnidirectional drone includes six programmable AI modules, a high-performance motor, 2-axis mechanical gimbal, and onboard HD camera for POV control, and even a light-based blaster and intelligent sensor armor so you can battle it out against other RoboMasters. Perfect for kids and adults alike, this kit is available now for $499.

Purchase: $499
