The very first Chris Reeve Sebenza folding knife was created back in 1987. Since then, it has become one of the most legendary everyday carry blades ever envisioned — ranking amongst the greatest cutting tools ever created. And now, for the first time in a decade, it’s been updated and upgraded.

Now called the Sebenza 31 (as opposed to 21), the enhancements are relatively modest, but serve to further refine the nearly-perfect folder. For instance, the famous Reeve Integral Lock now gets a Ceramic Ball Interface to further improve the detent and stabilization of the lock. The position of the pocket clip has been shifted to take pressure off the lock, as well. And the optional onlays — crafted from beautiful hardwoods or canvas Micarta — are now a single piece rather than two. The blade is still available in large or small varieties, comes with its signature S35VN steel blade, and boasts titanium handle scales. The Sebenza 31 is available now starting at $375.

Purchase: $375+
