Visuals have always been critical to telling a story and we’ve come a long way from drawing on cave walls to get our messages across. Apple has amplified that visual story-telling ability even further with its powerful Pro Display XDR (short for extreme dynamic range).

The Apple Pro Display XDR is a 32-inch LCD with a factory-calibrated 6016 x 3384 Retina 6K screen. The screen nearly touches the edge, leaving ultra-narrow 9mm bezels so you can enjoy a larger picture whether you’re practicing your PhotoShop skills, editing a video, or watching your favorite TV show. It also boasts Apple’s True Tone automatic color adjustment, P3 and 10-bit color with built-in reference modes, and cheese grate design on the back, acting as a heat sink. Thanks to the design, the screen can stay at 1,000 nits of brightness for quite a while to help you edit HDR content with ease. Apple also released the Pro Stand for the XDR, which allows you to rotate the screen into portrait mode. The Apple Pro Display XDR will be available this fall for $4,999.

Purchase: $4,999
