If you’re an audiophile, you probably already know that the biggest struggle with wireless headphones is finding a balance between price, high-tech features, and overall audio quality. That’s doubly difficult if good bass is important to you. But it’s something that Beats does exceptionally well. Sony, however, is hot on their tail — especially when you consider their new WH-XB900N Extra Bass headphones.

While the Extra Bass series has been around for a while, this particular offering is noteworthy because it comes equipped with many of the same features as Sony’s high-end WH-1000XM3 model but at a fraction of the price. That includes NFC and Bluetooth wireless connectivity, a 30-hour battery life, intuitive touch controls, a built-in microphone for calls, and (of course) noise-cancelling and the series’ signature Extra Bass technology. They even have built-in Alexa functionality and can fold down for easier traveling and storage. All that and more comes at a surprisingly low price of just $250.

Purchase: $250
