When it first came out, the Chevy Camaro was a nimble and powerful pony car with up to 275 horsepower — a very impressive figure at the time. And while the styling is still as iconic as ever, that power is woefully unimpressive in this day and age. But the folks at RideTech have found the perfect solution, which can be found in this 1968 Chevrolet Camaro Custom Coupe.

As you can see, this restomod pony car is absolutely gorgeous from head to toe. But the most beautiful thing about it is hidden under the hood: a 6.2-liter LSX engine capable of a whopping 630 horsepower mated to a Tremec T-56 Magnum 6-speed manual transmission. And that’s just one of the many upgrades to be had in this stunning 4,000-hour build. Others include a Velocity orange paint job with unique bare metal racing stripes, a fully-updated and upgraded suspension, a newly-customized interior with premium leather seats and racing harnesses, and so much more. Headed to Barrett-Jackson’s Northeast 2019 auction, this magnificent muscle car is sure to be a show-stopper.
