Carsten Charles Sabathia Jr. accomplished a noteworthy MLB feat by becoming only the 17th pitcher in history to record 3,000 strikeouts. Not to mention, he’s only the third left-handed pitcher to hit that magical number. To celebrate the Cy Young award-winners incredible achievement, Nike has unveiled these exclusive Air Jordan XI Retro CC Sabathia Cleats.

For the most part, the 1995 Jordan XI design remains intact, including the patent leather shine. Since Michael Jordan donned this shoe model on the way to his fourth NBA championship, it’s an appropriate shoe to commemorate the lofty efforts of Sabathia. These baseball cleats are personalized with Sabathia’s jersey number and have “CC52” on the interior of the tongue. Sabathia is one of the few MLB players to have rocked Jumpman footwear on the diamond. We have no doubt Sabathia will have a spot reserved in the hall of fame, but we’re not sure if these exclusive cleats will be available to the public any time soon.
