When it comes to SUVs, perhaps nothing is as iconic as the first generation Ford Bronco. And it’s a testament to its styling that, even today, it’s a coveted vehicle. Our one problem: even brilliantly restored versions still run on gasoline. There is one exception, however, in the Zero Labs 100% electric Ford Bronco.

Built to the same exterior design specs as the first gen SUV icon, these vehicles are actually built entirely by hand from the ground up. That includes bodywork made from ultra-tough and lightweight carbon fiber, FOX shocks, Brembo brakes, and over 1,000 other original components. Of course, the star of the show is the all-electric powerplant, which is expected to be good for the equivalent of 369 horsepower, 177 ft-lbs of torque, 190 miles per charge, and a peak power rating that’s 400% better than the original. Only 150 examples of this first-edition electric Ford Bronco are set to be made, so you’d better sign up for a reservation quickly.
