Zagato Revives Aston Martin’s V12 Vantage To Celebrate 100 Years

While Aston Martin’s Vantage is an impressive automobile by any standards, the pinnacle release has to have been the V12 version built in conjunction with Zagato. And while it’s no longer in production, the automaker and the coachbuilder have paired back up for a limited run of 19 Aston Martin Vantage V12 Zagato Heritage Twins.

Built with the help of AF Racing AG’s Re-Forged sub-brand, this glorious rebirth is meant to celebrate Zagato’s 100th anniversary as a coachbuilder. But with only 38 cars being built, the trio of companies knew these ones had to be special. So, they separated the bespoke vehicles into 19 throwback Coupes (which were first produced back in 2011) and 19 never-before-built drop-top Speedsters. Made to exacting standards and meant to emulate the styling of the 1950s and 1960s, there’s no word on performance output — however, we expect a horsepower output somewhere in the mid-500 range, based on past models. Sold exclusively in pairs, these magnificent ultra-rare vehicles are set to be delivered at the end of 2019. Pricing hasn’t been announced.
