Since 1991, Hennessey Performance has operated with one goal in mind: to make fast cars even faster. And as far as they’re concerned, nothing is outside of their reach — not even the fastest street-legal Corvette ever built. Let us be the first to introduce you to the 2019 Hennessey Corvette ZR1 HPE1200.

With a baseline stock engine capable of 755 horsepower, the Chevy Corvette ZR1 was already a plenty-impressive car. But Hennessey ramped it up to a mind-blowing figure of 1,200 — courtesy of a wide array of upgrades to the LT5 6.2L V8 under the hood, including a ported factory supercharger, in-house engine management calibration, a high-flow air induction system, and a good deal more. Those upgrades also serve to boost the torque rating up from 715 foot-pounds to 1,066 foot-pounds — which is the kind of power you might find in a top-of-the-line drag racer. True to their spirit, Hennessey has managed to turn the ZR1 from a four-wheeled fighter jet into something more akin to a lightspeed starship. For pricing and availability, however, you’ll have to contact the customizer directly.
